Anita Harbert
My Name is Anita Harbert I have been scuba diving for almost 20 years. I have been doing underwater photography for the last 6 years. I love being able to share the beauty that I see underwater.
My husband Ken is also a scuba diver. He is my extra pair of eyes while we dive. He is very patient with me while I’m trying to get that perfect shot.
I have won several awards with my underwater photos and am very happy to be able to print some of them on our note cards. We have been fortunate to travel all over the world, and have seen such beauty under the water that it is hard to put into words. I guess that is why I started to take pictures of what I see, so others can enjoy the beauty, without getting wet.

Bob Harvey
Bob Harvey, signature RP on paintings, has been oil painting about five years. His passion for painting landscapes, seascapes, and portraits is balanced by being a father, physician, and outdoor enthusiast. The joy of motorcycling and snowboarding is countered by the creative pleasure he experiences through art, literature, and poetry. He is a Colorado native where mountain vistas dominate, but loved North Carolina where he paints seascapes along the Carolina beaches.

Bur Reitsema
Living in a retirement community, Bur is recalling hours spent hiking and jeeping in fantastic mountain scenes. Her husband’s camera captured the highlights of the back country vistas. These slides and her intimate knowledge of the Rocky Mountain area are the inspiration for her oil paintings. She hopes the grandeur of these landscapes will convey how great God is.

Carmen Ann Freeman
Carmen Freeman has always enjoyed creating things. She entered into doing art after she took an early disability retirement. Art classes offered so much; stimulation, learning, making beautiful things, meeting people. She was able to overcome and ignore most of the pain and disability.

Don Simasko
In my work I try to appeal to all the physical senses as well as emotions. The sense of sight initiates the journey - composition - balance - color - focal point. I also want the viewer to feel the bite of the wind - taste the salt air - shiver in the dampness - hear the swoosh of wings - and maybe even smell the horses. All of these enhance the emotional response. To me, my paintings are complete only after the viewer experiences these sensory and emotional feelings.

Heather Craven
I am Heather Craven. I truly enjoy color… color in a painting, in the produce section of a grocery store or just outside my window. Looking at a beautiful design can lift my mood or inspire a creation of my own. I studied design for several years in college and have continued to paint off and on throughout the years. I am the mother of three rambunctious children who keep me running. My designs tend to focus on small moments of every day life. The moments in which my toddler crouches in the grass to peer at the bugs or the gasp of awe as my daughter watches a summer butterfly, these are the images I hold dear as I paint. When I look at my designs I feel the whimsy and hope of childhood.

Ginny Blackwell
I have painted in oils for many years and have done a good amount of commissioned work of all types. I have a “pet portrait” business where I paint from a photograph. I have committed for a good many years to share 50% of my gross sales with missionaries and this gives me motivation to paint and sell a lot. I prefer painting animals but enjoy most all sources. I also love to paint roses.

Kathy Carnival
Kathy Carnival was a self taught artist and painted anything from scenery, portraits, tole, and on many pieces of old tools, particularly saws. She took her life in October of 2005. Kathy loved the outdoors and had a beautiful English garden at her home in Westminster, Colorado. She also taught herself how to garden. She used the name Molly, after her grandmother, to sign her paintings. She started drawing when she was 16 years old and had a great talent for that as well. I remember when Ed Sullivan had on Paul Revere and the Raiders and she painted Paul from the TV. It was incredible. May my sister rest in peace now.

Kitty Marini
My mother was an artist. I loved watching her build her paintings layer by layer. The colors, the freedom, and the connectedness you feel as you paint are very joyous and playful. Places I’ve visited inspire me – Italy, Roma, and Siena. Colors also inspire me. I love combining different colors for different moods; bright for bold statements, and calm colors for peaceful feelings. My favorite is the unexpected pop of color that catches your eye and captures your attention.

Peggy Brody
Painting allows me to study, in depth, objects of interest to me. While I am painting, the outside world disappears. I become one with the painting. It is where I find my inner peace.
I started my art instruction almost fifteen years ago at the Art Students League of Denver, never having been involved in art prior to that time. Since then it has become a way of life for me. I work primarily in oils and also have a great affinity for pen and in drawings. My work is considered representational, focusing on portraits, still lifes, florals and landscapes. The teachers who have influenced me the most include Jerry DeLaCruz, Joshua Falik and Quang Ho.

Sondra Loafman Umberger
My love for art has developed through my passion for travel, photography, and art museums. Living in Europe and my extended journeys have taken me all around the globe, affording me the opportunity to study art. I love to paint and persevere to reflect meaningful subject matters by capturing beauty, uniqueness, interest, and emotion. My desire is to give the viewer a greater appreciation and meaning for life and thankfulness for all that we have been blessed with. I say, “To recreate an experience, a message or a cherished memory through an art form is priceless.” I paint a variety of mediums, working in oil, watercolor, pastels, and acrylic mediums. I do commission work upon request.
My passion for art is an adjunct to my passion for Jesus Christ and all that He has done for me personally as well as mankind. I delight in the opportunity to share my God given talent through art.

Stan Gudder
Although I believe my work is a form of art, it is also related to experimental science. Experimenting with various functions and exploring them over different values of their domains are essential ingredients of my creations. The works that I present are a very small part of an infinite universe and a form of electronic media that is a synthesis of art, mathematics, computer science, and experimentation. There are many interesting worlds where art and mathematics interact.

Steven Cohen
Born in St. Louis, Cohen moved to Denver and began painting and exhibit here. His work has also shown in galleries throughout Colorado, Florida, and Missouri since 1990. A story-teller by nature, Cohen grew up loving New York City. Most of his art works are cityscapes reflecting that love.

Tim Petro
Hello, I am Tim Petro. I am an artist, a massage therapist, a lucky husband and a proud father. I enjoy the simple and beautiful things that life has to offer. I believe in a oneness in the universe connecting all living things: humans, animals, Mother Earth, above and below. I enjoy trying to incorporate all these spiritual beliefs into my artwork. To me art is a beautiful journey for the mind, body and spirit, so why not have fun and let go and see where it can take you. I hope you are enjoying my art as much as I have enjoyed creating it. Many thanks. Peace, Love and Be Well!
